COLORFUL PRADA HANDBAGS: TASTE THE RAINBOW

Oh man, my friends. I am in love yet again – which is a little strange, as usually I am not the biggest fan of multicolored Prada handbags. When it comes to the Prada Striped Nappa Hobo bag, though, I am just head over heels and then some. These bags were big in spring of 2008 and, truth be told, they have only gotten more popular. I have seen a lot of people questioning how wearable these bags really are – which leads me to believe that some folks out there are actually a bit too … pretentious, when considering purses from any designer. I find this especially true when they give no reasons to back up the claim that these bags are not wearable. All they really say is that you have to wear “simple clothing” with these bags, but I think that is a load of – well. But that is just me on a snarky tangent, so let’s move on, shall we?
As you can plainly see, these Prada handbags come in a variety of styles – there are several others in addition to the two pictured, including one comprised of blue and orange stripes, as well as one with black and gold stripes. Granted, that last one sounds a little too honeybee, but I think these two, especially, are to die for, absolutely. The stripes follow the contours of the bag perfectly, giving it some serious character, and the attention to detail speaks volumes about how meticulous the Prada designers truly are. In particular, I love the juxtaposition of the bag featuring shades of blue. Turquoise, navy, lilac, it even looks like there is some periwinkle in there, and the final product is nothing less than stunning.
Furthermore, these bags are totally versatile. There are two shoulder straps, one long and thin, one thicker and shorter so it can be worn either around the wrist or the shoulder. You can also carry these Prada handbags as a clutch. They are made of soft, sumptuous nappa leather, and at about $1,150.00, their quality cannot be called into question.
